task 10

part A: we were asked to Produce five different “concepts” for an architectural renovation of the State Library. An architectural concept is an overarching idea, or set of ideas, that helps to drive your architecture. For this exercise, our concepts can draw on any of the ideas that you have looked at so far in the semester but they can also be completely new.

CONCEPT 5

DESIGN CONCEPT IS A DECONSTRUCTIVE GLIT WITHIN
THE DESIGN, THAT ONCE AGAIN COMPLEMENTS THE HISTORY OF THE LIBRARY. FROM KEEPING ITS TRADITIONAL SENSE IN HOW IT WAS
ONCE SEEKING KNOWLEDGE THROUGH SCROLLS AND BOOKS TO NOW THE ADVANCEMENT OF A DIGITAL AGE

part b: Revisit the two libraries which you studied earlier in the semester. Choose one of these two libraries and draw a ground floor plan and a section of the building.
