part A:we were set to choose three out of the five concept ideas from our previous task and to further develop the. with the three chosen concepts we needed to produce both a photo collage that helps depict the idea and a drawing further depict the whole concept for each.
CONCEPT 1 I WANTED TO CREATE MORE OF A scenic GARDEN THAT DOES NOT TAKE AWAY TO MUCH OF THE ORIGINAL LIBRARY DESIGN. BUT BRINGS A BALANCE OF INDOOR AND OUTDOOR FEEL TO IT.
CONCEPT 2 I WANTED TO FURTHER THE GLITCH AND DESTRUCTIVE CONCEPT OF THE DESIGN BY MAKING IT MORE OF A HISTORICAL DESTRUCTION THAT GOES THROUGH THE HISTORY OF VICTORIA. WITH SLASHES BEING TORN DOWN FROM THE GOLD RUSH AND HOLES TO REPRESENT NED KELLY SHOOTING IN THE BUSH TO
THEN TRANSITION INTO A MORE FUTURISTIC GLITCH
CONCEPT 3 I WANTED TO BUILD OFF THE WATERFALL IDEEA OF FLOW AND GROWTH AND CHANGE THEM INTO THE GROWTHS OF BUBBLE. WITHIN THEM AND HOW IT CAN WRAP AND MOVE AROUND ALREADY PRE-EXISTING OBJECTS, CREATING MORE FLOW AND CIRCULATION.
part b: we were asked to Revisit the second of our two libraries which we studied earlier in the semester and draw a ground floor plan and a section of the building.
